Newhaven & Seaford Sailing Club in Seaford, is a family-friendly watersports club and RYA (RYA OnBoard) training centre founded in 1952.
We have Dinghy, Catamaran, Windsurf and Keelboat sailing and racing all year round, with beach, lake and marina facilities. You can take part in Kayak, Canoe and Paddleboarding too with new members always welcomed.
We have a main site at Seaford clubhouse located on the beach with organised racing series on Sundays and Wednesday evenings throughout the summer. We also have facilities at our inland lake at Piddinghoe, where we sail all year round with a winter sailing series, windsurf and powerboat RYA training for adults and children.
We run cadet nights, with training and fun groups, at Piddinghoe on Tuesday evenings from May to July and Saturday afternoons in the Autumn and have our popular Women on Water (WOW) sailing evenings from April to October.
The club is run by the members on a volunteer basis, we have a galley, changing and shower facilities at both our beach and inland sites. The popular Seaford beach site has a fully staffed popular cafe, The Galley, a members bar and club facilities, with camping at both sites for open and annual sailing events. The club also sail keel boats out of Newhaven Marina, with safety, training and rescue boats for sea activities, so is totally covered for all aspects of sailing and watersports activities.
