Flatropers Wood Nature Reserve is a peaceful mixed woodland of great variety with streams and an open heathy area near Rye, East Sussex.

The far east of the county around the village of Beckley is one of the quietest and well wooded parts of Sussex. It’s here you can find Flatropers Wood, just over 37 hectares of mixed woodland, sunny open paths and rides, and ponds and streams. The woodland has been worked over the years and its composi­tion reflects this history.
