The Astor Big Band at Pavilion Theatre in Worthing on 7th November 2021 The Glenn Miller Story (Continues) with more incredible sounds of Glenn Miller from an 18 piece Big Band and singers.

The Astor Big Band return to Worthing with more incredible sounds of Glenn Miller.

The 18 piece Astor Big Band and Singers present the story of Alton G Miller from the formation of his first band in 1936 through to his tragic death, 77 years ago from 2021, on a flight from Bedford to Paris on Dec 14th 1944.

We use the format of his “Chesterfied” sponsored broadcasts with the Andrews Sisters – Something Old. Something New, Something Borrowed and Something Blue to bring you a host of Miller classics and a selection of more modern compositions from shows such as Les Misérables, West Side Story and Chess as he would have played them. A concert to appeal to all fans of Big Bands and Modern Musicals.
