London Harness Horse Parade near Haywards Heath at the South of England Centre, on 18th April 2022 an unusual Easter day out with over 100 horse-drawn vehicles together with vintage tractors and classic cars.
An unusual Easter day out for all the family. Over 100 horse-drawn vehicles together with vintage tractors, historic and classic cars give spectators the chance to see how transport has developed over the ages.
A tradition dating back 135 years, originally in London, it attracts entries from all over the country including this year the famous Waldburg Shires usually seen at the Lord Mayor’s Parade and rarely seen elsewhere.
The only six shire horse team regularly seen in this country will be appearing for the first time at this year’s annual London Harness Horse Parade on Easter Monday. The magnificent sight of the famous Waldburg Shires pulling the Youngs brewery dray is a spectacle not to miss.
Public admission gates open at 08:00, inspections and judging starts at 10:15 am and the final parade will be about 12:30 pm (all times subject to alteration).
