Crawley Down Christmas Lights Switch On near Crawley will feature an ice rink, a visit from Santa, fairground rides and stalls on 30th November 2019.

Join us to get the village in the Christmas spirit for the 2019 ‘Christmas Lights Switch On’ with Santas Grotto and Synthetic Ice Rink!​​​

We believe this is a first for Crawley Down… our very own ‘Ice Rink’! The CDRA has hired a synthetic Ice Rink so that everyone can have a go at Ice Skating within walking distance of your own home!

The ice rink will be in open from 11 am-7 pm. Each session will last 30 minutes and costs only £4.50 per person (if you’re not yet a member the first ticket you buy will cost £7, which includes your CDRA membership fee). Subject to availability, non-members will be able to pay on the day, these tickets will cost £8. So, to avoid the session you want selling out join today to benefit from presale and discounted tickets!!

Please note that all skaters under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult on the ice (and buy a ticket for both the child and adult)

Santa will be returning to his Grotto at King & Chasemore for another year! He is looking forward to saying hello to local children from 2 pm and will have a small gift if they’re on his ‘good list’!

We ask that anyone visiting the grotto considers making a small donation to help cover costs.

The Crawley Down Christmas Lights Association have been working hard all year raising funds and testing their lights! It’s not too late to donate to the Christmas Lights Association, they’ll be selling raffle tickets outside the shops, every weekend in November, as well as at this event!

The big switch-on will happen at 5 pm.

There will also be Fairground rides, Popcorn, Candy Floss and food!
