• Basic facts about moths (including what they are, how they live, what they need to survive, why they are declining in numbers)

• The variety of moth species

• How to find them

• Looking for habitats and signs of moths (and other insects) in the Hamblin Centre garden – this will involve a gentle stroll around parts of the Hamblin garden.

• Looking at a range of live moths that use the Hamblin Centre garden – including a look at those attracted to the overnight lamp.

Please ensure you are dressed in suitably warm, waterproof clothing and footwear for the weather conditions of the day.

There will be an opportunity for questions and answers and refreshments after the talk-and-walk.
