A Call to Arms at Arundel Castle in Arundel, you’ll be transported back to the 13th Century to find out what it was like to be preparing for The Crusades at Arundel Castle.
It is the year 1216 and King John prepares to fight a rebellion or an invasion from France.
Arundel Castle is now the scene for these preparations. A large tented encampment is the wonderful setting for demonstrations of armour, combat, archery and falconry. Crafts include making mail armour, leather working, scribing and cooking.
Have-a-go archery for over 8s only, height restrictions may apply.
