Zoom Wine and Cheese Tasting Evenings, nibble and tipple your way through Thursday nights this February with our wine and cheese zoom tastings.
Join George and Bec in collaboration with Cheese Please Lewes & Symposium Wine Emporium for 3 weeks of wine and cheese pairing evenings in lockdown on 11th, 18th, and 25th February. The tastings will take place from 7:30-9:00 pm on Zoom, with extra time at the end for anyone who wants to stick around, ask more questions, and carry on the merriment with another glass.
With expert tasting notes and pairing advice, Bec will lead you through an evening of learning, wine and cheese, in conversation with her partner, the opinionated and gourmand George.
Week 1 – White Wines – Thursday 11th February
Week 2 – Orange/Natural Wines – Thursday 18th February
Week 3 – Red Wines – Thursday 25th February
Each tasting will include:
– 2 bottles of wine – with the theme Old World v.s. New World – from Symposium Wine Emporium
– Tasting notes and cards in case you’re the kind of drinker who likes to know more!
– 3 specially selected artisan farmhouse cheeses, 120g of each, from Cheese Please
– Suggested pairing for each wine and a wildcard cheese
– Cheese ‘notecard’ in with your pack so you can learn more, and pick your favourite match.
Join all three evenings for £150, or join for one standalone tasting for £60. Wines and cheeses delivered to your door, or collect locally in Lewes.
