Vortice Dance – Dracula at White Rock Theatre in Hastings, a luxurious visual tale about submission and domination, featuring music by Philip Glass, Serghei Rachmaninoff and even Lou Reed.
Dracula… An attack on all senses!
After the standing ovations that lasted almost 15 minutes the crowd of MOB (Macedonian Opera and Ballet) has spoken! “Dracula” must be repeated in Skopje, because one performance simply isn’t enough.
Portugal’s Vortice Dance Company directed by Claudia Martins and Rafael Carrico has become one of the most prestigious Portuguese dance companies, their work being recognized by the public and critics from several countries, such as Japan, France, Spain, Italy, Finland, Denmark, Brazil, Latvia, Romanian, Macedonia, Israel and USA.
For the Dracula show, the two choreographers, Claudia Martins and Rafael Carrico have used several sources of inspiration, from Bram Stoker’s horror novel with the same title to legends and myths from different cultures.
