If you like Dixieland Jazz mixed with a bit of R&B, then this rarely performed show with Paul Jones and the Digby Fairweather All Star Band is not to be missed.

Paul takes time off from touring with the Manfred’s and the Blues Band to join up with Digby and his band that fifteen years or so ago was one of British jazz’s most talked-about acts when they toured and recorded with blues-legend George Melly. After Melly’s death, Digby was left to find someone to fill those flamboyant suits and front his “Rocking in Rhythm” show; he finally teamed up with the well-loved blues singer and aficionado.

Expect to hear those well-known hits of Paul’s like, ‘Doo Wah Diddy’ and ‘Pretty Flamingo’ along with the immortal songs of Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Louis Jordan and classics from the Great American Songbook.
