Meet local groups and organisations that provide a range of activities that can help you to support your own physical and mental health. All activities will be aimed at those over the age of 50 and include opportunities suited to a range of abilities. There will even be the chance to give some of them a try on the day!
From 6.00 pm – ‘Avoiding Frailty in Older Age: Be your own doctor’.

An evening presentation from award-winning Dr Elena Mucci, Consultant Geriatrician – “The Common Sense Advisor” and Mr Michael Jackson, Pharmacist in Cardiology who will inspire you to ‘become your own doctor’ so you can lead a healthy, active, fulfilling life. They will help you to think about how to best look after your health and wellbeing and to understand your medicines so you can live better for longer.
